I ordered the Ash-tray door fix + spring a few weeks ago and
received my parts less than a week later. The day I received this
kit, is the same day I spent the 15 minutes fixing it and have been
very pleased with ever since. Despite the small scale of this fix in
relation to all the other things wrong with my car, this has given
me such satisfaction and I wanted to say Thanks for having such a
well designed kit for such a paltry sum.

I now have an ashtray door that works on my 90 GT Mustang! This
is the second Mustang that I have owned and like the first, the
ashtray door was broken when I bought it. Thanks to your company's
product, the problem is cured on my current Stang. I read about your
product in 5.0, then visited your website. Online ordering was easy
(Ordered on a Sunday, delivered by Thursday), and installation was a
snap, about a half hour, with the easy to read instructions. Thanks
for the "effective and economical" solution to a common problem. The
ashtray door works good as new.

My 1989 Mustang 5.0 is my baby, and it bothered me to no end that
the ashtray door did not close... This was my Mustang, and that just
was NOT acceptable. Fortunately, I saw your company in 5.0 Magazine
"Tech Inspection" section with what appeared to be a "miracle cure"
to an all too common (Mustang) problem. Honestly, I met it with some
skepticism. It just looked too easy, but for the price I couldn't go
wrong and decided to order a kit. It only took me 45 minutes to do
the whole job which included cleaning out the underside of the
console. When I was finished I was pleasantly surprised...IT WORKED,
and it was easy! Thank you Mavromont for producing a quality
product, shipping it quickly, and making it so easy!

I've spent lots of cash on this car and I'll tell you that not
all of it was a good investment. The 1987-93 ashtray door fix is big
bang for the bucks. You have no idea how much that broken door
bothered me. I tried every thing but gluing it shut. I found the kit
was of good quality, clear instructions, and most importantly, IT
WORKED! .... Keep up the good work.

I am pleased that your 1987-93 Ashtray Door Fix kit actually
fixed my ashtray door! I was skeptical about it working; but for the
price I could not lose. I am glad I took a chance and bought it. I
have also told all my 5.0 buddies about it, I guess they'll be
calling you to order and calling me to borrow my Dremel! Thanks for
